  Did not like most of it, but seeing the clerk omitting the change for several customers is kind of insulting. Stop tagging with .99 cents if you're not going to give the change back. Not even pretend to have the intention. It is simply not there. And who would bother for a penny? Then put the whole price tag. Shame on you.

  The reviewer who complains about the 1 cent not being returned in change is perhaps not aware that in shops in this part of Spain, 1 or 2 cents are often not given in change, and on the plus side, are rarely asked for, either. If in the butcher's or the greengrocer's my bill comes to €9.54, I am asked for €9.50 only. And that goes for the Carrefour supermarket too - if I don't have the 1 or 2 cents needed to pay the whole of the bill, the cashier says "Never mind - leave it"
