  Tony and I have been coming to Miguels for many many years since before it was renamed Taverns de Miguel. It was previously named Taverns de Lucia but still involved Miguel in the owning and running of the business. It is the most professionally organised restaraunt, with the friendliest staff and the best food the patio is beautiful, comfortable, and amazing as a venue for any occasion. Definitely our favorite restaurant. 100% recommendation for a vist. Best menu and freshest food along the whole coast.

  I ordered the suckling pig, which was more fat than meat, and which didn't taste that nice. By the time I finished it I wasn't full, and I don't usually eat much. The jar of Sangria we ordered was also far from satisfactory, it tasted more like water than sangria, if you want to taste some good sangria, trust me just head to the nearest supermarket.

  In my opinion the place is not worth it, I will not revisit, and I wouldn't recommend it to people. If you see my other reviews you can see that I'm being honest, as my reviews are generally good, and I'm not a snob. I don't usually expect anything special from restaurants, and I don't mind small mistakes, but overall this was just not a nice evening.

  Very nice taberna along walking district of Estepona. Go for traditional dishes and fish here. The staff proved to be very friendly and attentive. If weather permits, pick a table outside or in the tents.

  Impressive how there is a €3 charge for bread! Two pieces of dry bread! The place looked nice from the outside and like a place many people especially the locals liked, which encouraged us to try it. Don't be fooled by that though, as it's not that case. It was also very busy and we had to wait for a table.

  I myself have worked as a server in the past, and waiter service was not up to standard, one plate was brought before the others and then taken back, and also we didn't have a fixed waiter for our table, so we had to ask for something three times to finally get something.

  You've read my review and now it's up to you, you're much better off at one of the Italian restaurants a few hundred metres away.
