  It's called the Calle Fuente de María Gil, and you will notice on the left-hand side of the street some small white pillars, about the size and shape of an old-fashioned pillarbox. These are the Stations of the Cross for when pilgrims come up here en route to the chapel.

  The building that you see now is not the original. That was built in the early years of the 19th century, but was, sadly, destroyed during the Spanish Civil War. Re-built at the end of the war, it was renovated early this century. It is kept locked, but you can peer through the iron grille to see the inside.

  The easiest way to get to it is up the tree-lined road directly next to the right-hand edge of the park. It's certainly going UP, by the way - it's a steepish hill . . .
